Douglas County commissioners on Oct. 14 unanimously approved a rezoning and a minor development final plat that will convert a 42.61-acre parcel to four single-family lots under Large Rural Residential zoning.
Planning Services senior planner Carolyn Washy Freeland presented the requests. Under the rezoning (project file ZR2024-015), the property would change from Agricultural-1 to Large Rural Residential, which allows a maximum gross density of one dwelling unit per 10 acres. The applicant's minor development final plat (project file SB2024-066) proposes four lots ranging from about 10 to 11 acres, with access via a private shared drive off Delbert Road.
