Planning board votes to forward town banner purchase to Town Council

The Clayton Planning and Zoning Advisory Board voted to forward a proposal to purchase new town banners to the Town Council for approval, the board agreed during its monthly meeting. A motion to send the banner proposal to the council was made, seconded and carried by voice vote.

Meeting participants also noted limits on the board’s ability to act: one member said the meeting did not include a quorum for the EZA, so the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board can forward the purchase recommendation but the EZA will not make a formal decision at this meeting. The motion to forward the banner proposal will go to the Town Council at its next meeting for final approval.
