Committee approves one-year digester-cleaning contract with Synagro WWT for roughly $1 million

The Oxnard City Public Works and Transportation Committee on Oct. 14 recommended that the City Council approve an agreement with Synagro WWT, Inc. for digester cleaning services. Staff presented a one-year agreement from Nov. 4, 2025, to Nov. 3, 2026, with a recommended contract amount stated in the staff report as approximately $1,000,001.85.

Staff answered no substantive questions and reported there were no public speakers on the item. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend the contract to city council.

Committee members and staff recorded the action on the consent/contract agenda; staff will forward the agreement and final contract documents to the City Council for approval and signature as part of the usual contracting process.
