The board then reviewed the claim docket. Trustees asked about specific claim numbers (for example, claim 90859 for a CTE digital curriculum platform and claim 90889 for the Smore family-engagement newsletter service) and whether certain invoice items produced credentials or were software licenses. Staff answered that the CTE item was a digital curriculum platform and Smore is a newsletter platform used by schools to send family communications. Trustees also noted a retainer/attorney invoice that had exceeded expected amounts and asked staff to confirm details.
No formal votes were recorded on personnel memos or claims at the work session; staff said they would repost the personnel packet in a clearer format and prepare a separate agenda item for salary adjustments.
