Committee recommends three on-call structural engineering agreements totaling up to $3 million

The Oxnard City Public Works and Transportation Committee on Oct. 14 recommended that the City Council approve three separate on-call structural engineering agreements. Each agreement would have an initial two-year term from Nov. 10, 2025, to Nov. 9, 2027, with an option for three consecutive one-year extensions, and a not-to-exceed amount of $1,000,000 per firm.

Listed firms in the staff recommendation were IDS Group, M6 Consulting Inc. and TYLend International, each with contract amounts not to exceed $1,000,000. Staff described the agreements as intended to provide on-call structural-engineering support for public works projects; no public comment was received and committee discussion was brief.

The committee voted 3-0 to recommend the three agreements to City Council.
