The Beatrice Public Schools Board of Education voted on Oct. 13 to provide updated building maps to the local police department and fire department, district staff told trustees.
Mr. Redwood reported the district has received a request from local public‑safety agencies for updated building maps. The administration recommended supplying both digital copies and printed maps so police and fire personnel can use them for training and tabletop exercises.
Redwood told the board the maps would be provided only to local officials. The district did not announce any change in access rights beyond that restriction.
