Staff said the project will replace about 2,300 linear feet of pipe and will evaluate sidewalk placement on Larson Lane.
- 2024 change order (70th & Schweitzer CMP project): Council approved Change Order to contract 2024-051 with a Bay Construction for $88,084.51 to address additional sidewalk, driveway and drainage work discovered during construction.
- Blackfish Parkway West of Flom design and easements: Council approved a design contract with BG Consultants for the Blackfish West of Flom CMP replacement project in the amount of $251,998 and adopted a resolution to authorize acquisition of temporary and/or permanent easements.
- City mowing services (2026): Council awarded a three-year mowing contract (with renewal options) to Kansas Land Management in the amount of $310,174, the lower of two bids received.
- Contract awards and procedural items: Council approved awarding various design and construction contracts and authorized staff to proceed with procurement steps where noted in staff reports.
- Semimonthly claims: Council ratified semimonthly claims for Oct. 13, 2025, totaling $8,889,819.07.
