Sarpy County adopts updated classified and unclassified employee policies

The Sarpy County Board approved updated policies and procedures for classified and unclassified employees on Oct. 14, accepting documents that county staff said were vetted by advisory groups and the Personnel Policy Board.
Jodi Bridal, Human Resources Director, presented the final policy books and thanked members of the employee and management advisory groups and the Personnel Policy Board for their work. “These policies have been reviewed by the employee and management advisory groups and as of last week approved by the Personnel Policy Board,” Bridal said. Upon approval, Bridal said the county would remove the old policies from the website and post the updated policy books.
Commissioners approved the resolution (2025-273) by unanimous voice vote. No executive session was requested for this item.
Ending County staff said they will update the county website to replace the prior policy book with the newly approved classified and unclassified policy manuals.
