Commissioners approve easement to Duke Energy for power pole across Harnett Central High School property

A commissioner moved to approve the easement and another commissioner seconded the motion. The board approved the easement by voice vote; the clerk noted that one member was missing during the vote.
Appel said the easement would allow Duke Energy to install the pole from the Harnett Central High School property across Harnett Central Road to the home on the other side of the street. No other conditions or compensation were reported during the presentation.
