Amy, representative of the Alamo Community Disc Golf Club, told the EDC the request is for the tournament’s marketing and promotion; she said, “So this is the third year that we're requesting funding for the Live Oak Summer Open. The date this year is April.” The application will be submitted under the resolution included in the board packet.
The request, discussed at the special meeting at Live Oak City Chambers, was framed by the club as both an economic development and advertising effort.
