The Mitchell Planning Commission approved a plat that reconfigures Lot 8 and vacates Lots 7 and 9 to create new Lot 7A, Lot 8 (reconfigured) and Lot 9A. City staff said VW currently owns Lot 8 and is selling about half to Kittle and half to Ryder; the applicants will vacate the existing Lot 7 and Lot 9 to create revised lots that incorporate the half‑lot purchases.
Staff presented the plat map showing prior and proposed lot lines and answered questions; commissioners moved, seconded and approved the plat on a voice vote. No public comments were recorded.
Decision: Plat approved; motion carried.
