Bow fire department brings canine to selectmen meeting; donors covered training and care

The presenter said donors have covered Loki’s care: Blue Seal donated his food and Hopkinton Animal Hospital donated medical care. Training support has come from Kelly of Doggone It Training in Guilford, who also trains the Belmont department’s dog Riggs.
The presenter credited generous local support, "including his food, which is a 100% funded," and thanked the named organizations. Several board members and attendees praised the dog; one board member invited Loki to attend selectmen meetings on the second Tuesday of each month.
The board agreed to prepare letters of thanks and framed pictures to present to the businesses and trainers that have sponsored Loki. No formal vote or budget action was recorded for the canine program at the meeting.
