A public hearing for a proposed 7‑Eleven fuel station on the southwest corner of Bloomdale Road and North Central Expressway (U.S. 75) was opened and immediately continued to the Oct. 28 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting after staff reported that the applicant had not posted the required notification signs on the property within the required timeframe.

Planner Jake Bennett told the commission the notification signs were not posted in the correct timeframe; staff recommended tabling the item and continuing the public hearing to Oct. 28. The commission opened the hearing, heard no public testimony, then voted to continue the hearing. Commissioner Hammock made the motion to continue and Commissioner Conrad seconded; the motion passed and the item was continued to the Oct. 28 meeting.
