Board approves routine items and funding measures; moves to process two land‑use proposals; fire code ordinance adopted

The Ventura County Board of Supervisors on Oct. 14 voted unanimously on a package of routine and departmental items, approved three annual payments to area Boys & Girls Clubs, and authorized staff to begin processing two privately initiated land‑use proposals. The board also adopted and the chair later ratified an ordinance updating the county fire code to the 2025 California Fire Code with local amendments.
