The actions came during the county—s regular meeting and covered transportation grants, a courthouse insurance claim, landfill equipment and multiple small capital purchases.
The approvals affect county emergency medical services, public works and landfill operations and allocate a mix of ARPA, insurance proceeds, special-equipment and general-fund monies.
Commissioners voted to authorize the chair to sign an amendment to the county—s emergency ambulance service agreement with AMR. Jason Jenkins, regional director for AMR, told the board AMR had forwarded a signed version and was prepared for the county to sign.
