- Licenses and temporary events: The council approved a temporary mass gathering permit for the Sons of Liberty "Whiskey Wonderland" (Dec. 12–13, 2025), approved a victualing and holiday sales license for Brew 56 LLC (56 Fort/Front Road, Kingston) allowing near‑term opening, and approved license transfers and other retail food and beverage licenses including Jennifer’s Chocolates and Melgie's (some transfers held pending documentation when applicants were not present).
- Contracts and purchases: The council authorized a contract to replace vinyl composite tile at the Public Safety Complex (award to Ramsco, not to exceed $43,170), approved awarding road‑salt purchase under state contract, and approved purchase of a replacement street sweeper (approximately $308,980) and a replacement front‑mount mower (about $45,668). The council also expanded the playground contract at Tuckertown Park to add ADA surfacing and an additional tot swing (additional $27,667 funded from ARPA interdepartmental allocations).
- Energy aggregation: The council approved continuing the municipal electric aggregation program’s supplier and winter pricing for the 2025–26 winter term as recommended by the town’s energy consultant and participating municipal buying group.
- Public safety and services: The council approved an extension of mental‑health clinician services under grant funding for the police department’s CIT program; staff said existing grant dollars will fund the arrangement.
