Okaloosa school board approves revisions to emergency-operations and threat-management policies

Board member Destin moved to approve policy 04-28; board member Evanchak seconded. The motion passed 4-0. Board member Heinle moved to approve policy 04-49; Destin seconded. That motion also passed 4-0.

The transcript records the presentation as being “presented by Mr. Danny Dean, director of Safe Schools, and recommended by the superintendent for approval,” and that “there’s none” when the board asked if anyone wished to speak. The board took the votes immediately after motions and seconds.
