The advisor said attendance was “just over 750 students” and noted strong chaperone support, including 19 chaperones and multiple board members in attendance.
Student representatives thanked staff and volunteers, highlighted the high-school welding program’s community project and noted students’ involvement in packing service hours. Board members who chaperoned or attended praised the student experience and the school’s efforts to broaden participation and support students with different needs.
The advisor said the district intentionally coordinated with special-education staff and families to increase accessibility and planned to use student feedback to refine future events. Board members complimented the student leadership and encouraged continued family and volunteer engagement.
