Teacher highlights ‘Poderosas’ mural and Hispanic Heritage Month during public comment

Saenz Kattebek said one of the mural subjects is Senora Anjelberta Cobb, whom she described as a locally and nationally respected indigenous Aztec dance leader who performed in Washington, D.C., in the late 1970s. She encouraged listeners to visit sacpoderosas.org for details on the mural subjects and viewing locations.
The remarks were delivered during the meeting's public comment portion; no board action was recorded related to the mural or to Hispanic Heritage Month during the transcripted segment.
