Urbana Free Library reports higher summer-reading engagement, outlines programming policy draft

The policy draft will formalize existing practices, Lauren said, including that programs be free (or cost-recovery if charged), accessible under local, state and federal guidelines, and designed to meet educational, recreational, civic and community needs. "For ourselves, we only offer free programs," Lauren said during the presentation.
