The renewal, presented as Resolution 25-0666, was described by Jeff Anderson, deputy chief information officer, as the software the city uses for benefits open enrollment and for processing employee changes throughout the year. Anderson said the two-year renewal represents a roughly 5% increase over the previous two-year contract.
The committee approved the resolution on a voice vote. Alderman Bate moved the motion; Alderman Jonathan Nunez seconded it. The motion passed 5-0.
The item was presented as a renewal rather than a new procurement; Anderson told the committee the product is used by employees who enroll in or change benefits and that the timing is driven by the upcoming open-enrollment period in November.
