Staff said the tenant space is a 4,420-square-foot retail unit and that the applicant, Todd Slovia, is proposing to designate roughly 3,000 square feet for gaming events. Staff reported the layout showed seating for about 100 players and noted the applicant would add two restrooms to comply with Illinois plumbing code. Staff concluded the application met the conditional-use standards and recommended approval subject to conditions in the staff report.
