Joliet City Council approves consent agenda including equipment purchases, contracts and subdivisions; several CDBG resolutions pass

The Joliet City Council on Oct. 7 approved its consent agenda and a slate of ordinances and resolutions that included equipment purchases for public works, software and scanning contracts, change orders on multiple capital projects, and several Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awards.

The council voted to approve consent items collected under council memos 528‑25 through 541‑25. The package included purchase approvals for heavy equipment — a Caterpillar end loader for $240,342.12 (memo 528‑25) and a Caterpillar backhoe for $170,006.00 (memo 529‑25) — and software and services purchases, including a ProjectDocs SaaS renewal for $41,400 (memo 537‑25) and a three‑year Cisco Identity Services Engine subscription and support agreement for $165,341.57 (memo 539‑25). The council also approved a three‑year enterprise license agreement for Virta GIS Studio Enterprise Edition for $109,440 (memo 541‑25) and a fleet management software purchase and implementation for $75,776.72 (memo 540‑25).
