Superintendent Hart recognized Julie Clark as the meeting’s employee of the month on Thursday and described Clark’s long-standing contributions to early-learning programs.
“The smile that you see is the smile that you get no matter, no matter the day,” Superintendent Hart said, praising Clark’s responsiveness and role in supporting principals and programs. Hart said principals regularly refer to Clark as the person to call when they need help and noted Clark’s visibility at events such as a Lakeshore Learning presentation the previous day.
Clark was presented with customary recognitions, including a preferred parking space and a commemorative water bottle. The recognition was presented as an informational item; no board vote or action followed.
The board then proceeded to its scheduled education highlights.
