The Grayson County Commissioners Court on Oct. 14 approved routine minutes, authorized several payments under the consent agenda and passed a resolution nominating two candidates to the Grayson Central Appraisal District.
The court approved the minutes from its Sept. 23, 2025 meeting and then approved the consent agenda by single motion. The consent vote included authorization of bills dated Oct. 14, 2025 and specific vendor payments: $59,000 to All American Dogs for animal control and sheltering services for Grayson County fiscal 2026 and $393,666.07 to Tyler Hartenberg. All votes on these items were recorded as “Aye” with no opposition on the floor when the court voted.
On a separate action, the court approved a resolution nominating the appraisal-district board members proposed by the Grayson Central Appraisal District, keeping Brad Morgan and nominating Charlie Williams to continue on the district’s board. The motion to approve the nominations passed unanimously.
The court later went into executive session under the Texas Government Code and reconvened at 10:41 a.m.; the court reported there was no action to be taken on matters discussed in executive session.
