The Village of Oak Lawn Board of Trustees on Sept. 23 unanimously approved a consent agenda that included traffic-safety ordinances, personnel promotions and hires, event permits, several professional-service agreements and a disbursement resolution totalling $3,262,955.84.

The board adopted multiple ordinances and resolutions on a single motion and roll call. Trustees Sack, Pembroke, Olynychak, Mallow, Stalker and Desmond all voted yes on the consent agenda items reported in the packet.

The clerk read a disbursement-resolution amount listed in the packet as $3,262,955.84; the board approved that disbursement on roll call. The board also authorized the Traffic and Safety Commission recommendations for multiple local sign installations and ordinances that would authorize those signs.

Board members had little discussion on the consent items during the meeting; when asked whether any item should be removed, no trustee requested separate consideration. All consent items were taken together and passed by roll call.

The consent agenda also included a resolution authorizing a software agreement for Freedom of Information Act request management and a UKG time-and-attendance service agreement for the human resources department, both listed with annual and multiyear costs in the meeting packet.

Other administrative items approved: event permits and village resource-fee waivers for community events, and a notification of the annual shred event on Oct. 4. The board concluded the public portion of the meeting and later approved a motion to enter executive session to discuss a settlement claim (vote recorded).
