Motor-grader bid letting: Authorized advertising for bids to lease a motor grader and set bid opening for 10 a.m. Nov. 19; bids due by that time. Vote: unanimous (Ayes: Jamie, Mark, Casey, Jean, Rick).
State fair board delegate: The commission reappointed Gary Canel as the county’s delegate to the state fair board (motion carried; unanimous vote).
Zoning exemption: Approved a Planning & Zoning zoning exemption request for Perry Winkler to install electrical service for a private well site; vote carried unanimously.
Appraised unredeemed property: The commission approved appraisals and set a public hearing on minimum sale prices for unredeemed property to be held at the Nov. 5 meeting (motion carried; unanimous vote). The county clerk will publish notice as required.
Vouchers and routine approvals: The commission approved the meeting agenda, minutes from prior meetings, September revenue acceptance for certain county accounts, and a set of vouchers with one bill withheld for follow-up; all routine motions passed on recorded voice votes.
