Playground approval nears; final CCC plans delayed by engineering issues and a small price change

The group discussed a modest price change tied to project work. One participant confirmed an increase “It's $1,950,” and Speaker 2 said the increase mainly affects payment processing rather than requiring a new council authorization: “I don't think the increase so much is to have that has to be approved. It's just the payment,” Speaker 2 said. Staff said the revised cost is under $2,000 and that the overall package remains subject to council review if larger adjustments arise.
Councilmembers asked that any notable pricing changes be returned to the council before final decisions or disbursements are made.
