Redevelopment staff said the tenant’s total renovation costs were $360,000, which qualified the nonprofit for the maximum $25,000 under the agency’s tenant-improvement incentive. Staff also said the tenant will occupy about 5,300 square feet and signed an eight-year lease with a six-year initial term and a two-year extension option.
Miles Dixon, identified in the transcript as leader of Nevada Grant Lab, described the organization as a downtown nonprofit that provides training and grant resources to other nonprofits and said the larger office and training space will allow the group to host events and support local partners. “We support local businesses every time we have an event,” he said.
