The council approved a construction agreement with Texas Materials Group Inc. to complete milling, patching, pavement overlay and striping on the city’s portion of Suncrest Road and Johnson Road for an amount not to exceed $180,234.20.

Councilmembers said the project responds to resident complaints about inconsistent pavement where county and city work meet and follows maps and footage shared in prior workshops. Staff said Travis County completed its portion and the city’s work will make the corridor uniform.

Council approved the construction agreement and authorized the city manager to execute it. Staff said the project will be scheduled and coordinated with Travis County work to minimize neighborhood disruption.
