Council conducted interviews earlier and indicated a preference for Schoeller Brown. A motion to recommend her appointment was seconded and carried without opposition. City staff noted her first EDC meeting will be Sept. 11.
The appointment fills the EDC seat for the remainder of the term; the EDC governs economic development initiatives that can tie into the city’s CIP and event support programs.
