Residents urge better representation, raise allegations against trustee during Teaneck BOE reorganization meeting

Multiple residents used the Jan. 7 Teaneck Board of Education reorganization meeting’s public-comment period to congratulate newly seated trustees and press the board on representation, transparency and conduct.

At least one remote commenter, identified in the transcript as Shanaz, urged trustees to better reflect the district’s student demographics and called for action regarding Trustee James Wolf. Shanaz said that documents filed in Rockland County alleged wrongdoing by Wolf and that several residents had requested his resignation.
