Teaneck Board swears in three trustees; elects Ed Hoff president in 5–4 roll call

The Teaneck Board of Education on Jan. 7 administered the oath of office to three newly elected trustees and chose its 2025 leadership.

Board Secretary Dr. Victor Anaya administered oaths to Jonathan Rodriguez, Jennifer Levy and Nadia Hussain, who were sworn in after the board secretary read the statutory oath required for board members. The reorganization meeting was held in person at Teaneck High School and streamed via Zoom.

In roll-call voting held during the meeting the board elected Ed Hoff as board president on a 5–4 vote. The board later selected a vice president during the same reorganization process; the position was filled after multiple nominations and roll-call votes.
