The Lago Vista Charter Review Committee unanimously approved the minutes from its Oct. 1, 2025, meeting after reconvening from an executive session on Oct. 15.

Committee Chair Linda opened the public portion of the meeting at 4:53 p.m. and asked whether members had reviewed the draft minutes. A member moved to approve the minutes “as written,” another member seconded, and the committee approved the motion by voice vote with unanimous assent; the transcript does not record individual named votes or a numerical tally.

The committee had adjourned briefly to an executive session to receive attorney-client guidance on bonding and indemnification questions raised by the committee; that privileged discussion was not summarized on the record. After returning to open session the group resumed routine business and took the minutes vote.

The approval clears the committee to continue its review of model charter language and the city’s existing charter at future meetings.
