• Water Tower Park renamed "Joe Buck And Mary Jo Camp Island Legends Park" (Agenda item 6.3). Motion carried; Parks Committee members asked for clearer coordination with ongoing donor discussions.

• Republic Services pass-through increase to cover higher disposal fees at the Brownsville landfill approved (Agenda item 6.2). Motion carried with one opposing vote and one abstention recorded; council discussion noted customer notification timing issues.

• Pickleball-court construction at Water Tower Park approved and a budget amendment authorized to reserve up to $76,009.50 (Agenda item 6.4). Motion carried.

• City Manager authorized to negotiate a contract with the highest-ranked tourism/convention consultant (Hunden Partners) following an RFQ/interview process (Agenda item 6.5). Motion carried.

• Resolution No. 2025-18: Council nominated a candidate (Barry Patel) for the Cameron County Appraisal District board. Motion carried; one council member stated opposition.
