1) Approval of minutes from Oct. 7, 2024 — Motion to approve minutes (correction to name) made by Miss Borowski, seconded by Miss Altaq. Committee approved by voice vote.
2) Recommendation of personnel policy manual updates — Motion by Miss Althoff, second by Miss Morawski to recommend the personnel policy manual updates (confidentiality language and leave/FMLA clarifications) to the full Board of Health. Committee approved by voice vote; staff to forward the item to the Board of Health for consideration.
3) Recommendation to approve emergency appropriation for bilingual pay — Motion to recommend the resolution authorizing emergency appropriation of the Department of Health 2024 budget regarding bilingual pay was made by Miss Althoff and seconded by Miss Morawski. Recorded yes votes included Mister Morrison, Miss Altaq, Miss Carmen and Miss Morawski. The motion passed; staff will confirm final appropriation language with finance and route the item through Public Health and Community Services and finance before the Board of Health meeting.
4) Motion to enter executive session — Committee made and seconded a motion to go into executive session to discuss past committee minutes, an employment contract, and an audit; motion carried by voice vote.
These items will be carried forward to the Board of Health and, where noted, to the county finance process for appropriation and audit review.
