The Waukegan Community Development Committee passed a slate of resolutions and procurements July 7, voting unanimously on each measure during the meeting following the CAPER public hearing.
Among the approvals, the committee authorized expenditure of up to $150,000 from Northern North Lakefront TIF No. 7 to fund site studies for a prospective development at 1831 North Pershing Road. The motion was made on the agenda as “resolution authorizing the expenditure of funds from the Northern North Lakefront TIF number 7 for site studies for a future development prospect at 1831 North Pershing Road in an amount not to exceed $150,000.” The motion was made by Alderman Florian and seconded by Alderman Martinez; the roll call recorded Alderman Donenworth, Alderman Florian, Alderman Martinez and Alderman Felix voting aye.
The committee approved procurement of portable restroom trailers and individual portable bathroom units for the beach, with an amount not to exceed $70,000 charged to two line items (100-1062-24428 and 100-1062-24438) and procured in…
