Staff described a set of investments intended to drive hotel stays, sales tax, and private reinvestment.
Huff said the city will continue marketing and business‑recruitment programs that use data tools and memberships with regional organizations to target industries and site selectors. She noted the city’s agreement with Plug and Play, a startup accelerator platform, has produced more than 150 leads and has already generated corporate leads the city is pursuing.
