The Pataskala City Planning and Zoning Commission heard a request Aug. 6 from the applicant for rezoning case ZON-25-002 to keep the matter tabled while revisions are prepared.
The applicant apologized for returning the item and said the next submission will include changes addressing concerns raised earlier. “I apologize for bringing you back out tonight,” the applicant said. The applicant said the revised application will set building separation at 16 feet and remove a building that was added on March 10.
The request came during the meeting’s old-business discussion of several previously tabled transportation-corridor items. Commission members asked whether a motion was required to remove the application from the table; staff and the presiding officer confirmed no motion was necessary to keep the item tabled. The application therefore remained tabled and no formal vote to un-table it was taken.
Commissioners did not debate the revised technical details at length on Aug. 6; the applicant indicated those specifics will appear in a future filing. The transcript records the applicant saying the revised submission “will be 16 feet” for building separation and that an added building “that was added on…03/10 will be removed.”
Other routine business at the meeting included approved motions to excuse absences, approval of the July 2 regular meeting minutes and setting the next meeting date. The commission adjourned and set its next regular meeting for Sept. 3, 2025.
