Honor graduates were recognized by class rank categories. Summa cum laude recipients (3.8 GPA or higher) and magna cum laude recipients (3.65 GPA or higher) were announced, followed by cum laude honorees (3.5 GPA or higher); many students were read individually as diplomas were presented. Two student speakers, Braden Trundle and Emma Carlson, delivered commencement addresses reflecting on personal growth, community and the transition beyond high school. Musical performances included selections by the combined symphonic band and wind ensemble under director Gretchen Chilson and the concert choir under director Kelly Newell.
Superintendent Kevin Borg and school board members Gary Wallner (chair) and Lauren Davis joined Principal Jolene Herfl in presenting diplomas. The transcript records requests that the audience refrain from cheering for individual graduates so each name could be heard.
