The court accepted multiple new roads into the county maintenance system after engineering review: Carriageway, Carriage Court and Wayman's Way were each taken into the system on separate motions (movers and seconders recorded on the record) and approved. 911 and personnel actions: Beverly (9-1-1) asked permission to hire Emma Gregory full time pending pre‑employment requirements; the court approved the hire. The court later moved into executive session on personnel and opioid settlement funds. After returning to open session, the court voted to terminate the employment of James Brandon Payne at 911 for lack of performance and absenteeism.
Bills and adjournment: The court approved the October bill list and then recessed into the executive session; a motion to adjourn followed the termination vote.
