Aurora City Council approves mayoral advisory-board appointments, passes consent agenda and bills by unanimous vote

Additionally, the council accepted several dedications of right-of-way and easements and approved minutes from the March 11, 2025 council meeting. When Alderman Bugg asked a question about one easement tied to a Park District property, an engineering representative, Jason Bauer, confirmed there was an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) and offered to follow up with the alderman on timing.
The consolidated consent motion passed on a roll call of 12 yes, 0 no. The council also approved payment of the bills on a separate motion by Alderman Schmitt, seconded by Alderman Tolliver, again by a 12-0 roll call. The meeting adjourned following a motion by Alderman Franco.
