A trustee moved and another seconded to request the study; members voted in favor and asked the superintendent to work with FCMAT staff to develop an initial scope for the review and return a proposal to the board. Trustees specifically suggested the scope should include the end‑to‑end HR process from job posting through onboarding and consider whether the district needs more HR staff to support current operations.
Superintendent Reyes agreed to meet with district staff to prepare scope options and to place the item on a future agenda with proposed dates for a formal FCMAT request.
