Tinley Park committee approves multiple contracts, IGAs and renewals

At its Sept. 16 Committee of the Whole meeting, the Village of Tinley Park approved a slate of routine contracts, intergovernmental agreements and tax-classification requests, including a $64,422.72 purchase of police vehicle technology and a resolution to formalize a school resource officer agreement with High School District 230.
The Tinley Park Committee of the Whole on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, approved a package of routine municipal actions including Cook County tax-classification requests, vendor contracts for snow removal and holiday lighting, a TIF-administration contract and the purchase of police-vehicle technology totaling $64,422.72.
The committee also approved an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) closeout with Cook County related to the village's photovoltaic project and a resolution to finalize an IGA with High School District 230 to provide a school resource officer. There were no public comments during the Committee of the Whole portion of the meeting prior to adjournment.
The approvals were moved and seconded for each agenda item and carried on roll-call votes. President Glantz added, "It'd be nice to see that corner, finally developed," and thanked Mike Coleman for his work on one of the development items.
