Organizers asked interested people to submit the volunteer sign‑up form by the end of the week.
"You might get some moulage on you for some, fake wounds and, be prepared to be part of this incident planning," the hospital quality director said.
The presenter said the hospital is working with emergency management and other county partners to stage the exercise and will notify volunteers if they are selected. The hospital will not publish the total number of victims publicly to preserve the exercise's realism.
