Alderman Guzman was formally seated at the start of the City of Waukegan Public Works & Infrastructure Committee meeting after a unanimous voice vote.
Alderman Newsom moved to seat Guzman and the motion was seconded by Alderman Downerworth. Chair or presiding official called for the voice vote and members answered, “Aye,” after which the presiding official said, “Alderman Guzman is seated.”
The seating occurred immediately before the committee moved into audience time and then regular business; no public comment was received at that point.
