Petersburg assembly renews 4 20 retail marijuana store license

The Petersburg Borough Assembly voted Oct. 6 to renew the retail marijuana store license for the business identified in the meeting as "4 20." The clerk informed the assembly that the Alaska Alcohol and Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) had determined the renewal application to be complete and that a local governing body may protest a renewal within 60 days of the notice.

A motion to approve the renewal was made and seconded; the clerk called the roll. Vice Mayor Marsh, Member Valentine, Member Lynn, Member Schwartz and Member Newman recorded aye votes and the motion passed.

No public protests or objections to the renewal were recorded in the meeting minutes for Oct. 6.
