The Manor Planning and Zoning Commission on Aug. 13 approved a joint-lot affidavit to combine Lots 14, 15 and 16 in Block 25, enabling commercial development and additional parking for the applicant. The motion passed 4-0.
Planning staff said a joint-lot affidavit had previously been done for Lots 14 and 15, and the applicant requested adding Lot 16 to further enable commercial use and parking. The applicants, identified as Ringo Sun and Yoo Chi Wu, attended the meeting; Ringo Sun told commissioners the combined lot would allow a business venue where customers can come to “play the game, and, watch TV and music,” and that the extra lot would be used for a parking area to serve the facility.
Commissioner Meyer moved approval of the joint-lot affidavit; Commissioner Albert seconded. The motion passed 4 to 0.
The affidavit approval permits the lots to be treated jointly for development purposes; any subsequent site plans, parking layouts or building permits must follow city review and applicable codes.
