Karen Moringhouse, executive director of Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections, was recognized during the meeting for more than two decades of work promoting commute options and regional air quality improvements.
Meeting presenters cited Moringhouse’s long career in transportation management and her leadership at Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections, where she began working in 2021 and led the organization through its merger with the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. The presenter also noted that Moringhouse co-founded and served as executive director of Ego Car Share (now known as Colorado Car Share) beginning in February 2001, and that she recently announced she will step down from her executive director role while remaining involved with the Transportation Management Association and the Way to Go partnership’s ongoing programs and campaigns.
