The Westbury Union Free School District Board of Education voted unanimously Wednesday to move into an executive session to discuss an item of personnel.
Board President Robert Treano Jr. asked for a motion at the Oct. 14 planning meeting; a motion to go into executive session was moved and seconded, and the board recessed for an anticipated hour. The board stated there would be no votes upon return other than votes to come out of executive session and to adjourn.
When the board reconvened after executive session, members voted to come out of executive session and then voted to adjourn. All votes taken at those times were recorded as unanimous among the trustees present.
The board did not provide further details of the personnel matter in open session.
